But just because you have a CPU that can do 64-bit operations, DOES NOT necessarily mean that your vendor installed a 64-bit version of Windows 7. It will be faster, at least on the processor-intensive operations, of which there are many millions per second in HDR witchcraft. Thanks for any advice.The 32/64bit question is totally dependent on just one thing - what version of Windows are you running? If you are running a 64bit version of Windows 7, then the 64-bit version of Photomatix (and, for that matter, any other software that gives you the choice) would be best. I have a new computer so there is plenty of space on the Hard Drive and I have moderately fast processor. Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know what difference one would have over the other and I want to install the best of the two. When I load the disc it is asking if I want the 32-bit or 64-bit version.
I just purchased Photomatix Pro 4 and I want to install it on my PC.
